"Newfangled Doom" Snapmap Update
As many of you may have heard by now, the snapmap feature in Doom (2016) has been recently updated, to the joy of modders everywhere.
Features such as texturing surfaces, more options for blocking volumes, and other game-changing elements have now been implemented.
The snapmap editor was hyped up considerably upon release by many Doom fans, and people were exited to see an editor so easy to use, yet so powerful, and free (to boot).
Sadly, it was discovered that the snapmap editor had quite limited customization when it came to level design.
However, the limits of this editor are being tested as we speak, with ports of original Doom maps, mini-game maps, adventure maps, RPG maps, and even farming simulators.
If there is continued support and updating of snapmap in the near future, I'm guessing we can expect to see a lot more on the way!
